Know Your Yarn

The fiber you choose shapes everything — how it feels, how it drapes, how it ages. Here's what goes into your custom piece.

Merino Wool

Merino Wool

Australia & New Zealand

Incredibly soft, fine, and lightweight

Merino Wool

Merino wool comes from Merino sheep and is one of the softest, finest wools available. Its fibers are much thinner than regular wool, making it non-itchy and gentle against skin. It naturally regulates temperature — keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer. Merino also wicks moisture away from the body and resists odors naturally.

Alpaca

Alpaca

Peru & Bolivia

Silky smooth, luxuriously warm

Alpaca

Alpaca fiber comes from the fleece of alpacas, native to the Andes mountains. It is warmer than sheep's wool, lighter in weight, and hypoallergenic — making it perfect for people with sensitive skin. Alpaca doesn't contain lanolin, so it rarely causes allergic reactions. The fibers have a natural sheen that gives garments an elegant, premium look.

Cashmere

Cashmere

Mongolia & Inner Mongolia

Butter-soft, featherlight luxury

Cashmere

Cashmere is harvested from the soft undercoat of cashmere goats. Each goat produces only about 150 grams of cashmere per year, making it one of the most precious fibers in the world. It is three times more insulating than sheep's wool yet incredibly fine and light. True cashmere is a statement of quality that lasts for years when properly cared for.

Cotton

Cotton is a natural plant fiber that has been used in textiles for thousands of years. For hand-knitting, we use long-staple cotton varieties like Turkish and Egyptian cotton, which produce smoother, stronger yarn with a beautiful drape. Cotton knits are perfect for warmer weather — breathable, hypoallergenic, and easy to care for.

Fluffy, cloud-like halo effect

Mohair

Mohair comes from the Angora goat (not to be confused with Angora rabbit fiber). It is known for its distinctive fuzzy halo — a soft, cloud-like bloom that surrounds the garment. Mohair is incredibly strong, resilient, and takes dye beautifully, producing vibrant, rich colors. It adds a dreamy, ethereal quality to any knitted piece.
